I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the health and well-being of many people. It truly provides meaning to my life to be able to do so. Our varied patient population not only comes from the NY, NJ, CT and area, but also from CA, FL, MA, ID, and VT, as well as Europe, South America, Asia, and the Bahamas. What a wonderful opportunity it is to be able to provide dental care and contribute to the wellness of our patients, and learn from, and be part of, our patients’ lives.

I chose the field of dentistry because it would allow me to make a personal, meaningful contribution to the health and well-being of many people. By utilizing my mind, knowledge, skills, and heart, I could enable and support people in achieving their goals and aspirations.

A Commitment to Educational Excellence

I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Following my education at Columbia, I completed a two-year general practice residency at Nassau County Medical Center. I am a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, one of the most rigorous continuing dental education programs.

I have a strong interest in staying on the cutting edge of dental knowledge and techniques and being educated on technological advances so that my patients can receive the best treatment possible. However, not all new technology is necessary or good at all times. It needs to be proven and make sense before we incorporate it into our protocols.

To keep current with evidence-based dental research, I am involved in multiple study groups, including the Columbia Implant Study Group and the Spears Study Club. I also attend numerous continuing education courses, which include seminars at the Dawson Academy, the William C. Strupp Postgraduate School of Dentistry, and the Pankey Institute.

Teaching Experience

I receive much satisfaction in inspiring and educating students at all levels — dental, college, and high school students — as they shadow us and experience how we care for our patients.

I also have been a clinical instructor and attending in the New York metropolitan area.

Outside the Office

Just as I am professionally connected to my patients, I am also proactively committed to maintaining and enhancing my relationships with my family and friends.

My family and I make the most of New York City by attending on- and off-Broadway shows, concerts, and events at Lincoln Center, and trying to keep up with new restaurants. Taking advantage of NYC museums, exhibitions, and talks, as well as trips to Central Park and other area parks, has always been a part of our life in Manhattan. I take great pleasure in exercise, biking, landscape architecture, gardening, and travel, as well as playing golf with my sons.
